Send enough context to reproduce the issue without sharing the credential that caused it.

Before emailing

Participants: check the public CalicoTab page. Use /room for a missing draw DM; ask the OrgComm to verify an incorrect link.
Staff: follow setup recovery for configuration, permissions, or delivery problems.

Include context

If the bot’s private error reply shows a 12-character Support ID, include it so the bot operator can match your report to the sanitized log entry and investigate the failure. Also include the tournament name, Discord server, command, approximate time and timezone, expected result, and a sanitized screenshot or error message. If no Support ID is shown, the other details are still enough to start the investigation.

Protect credentials

Never send Discord bot tokens, CalicoTab API tokens, Railway tokens, authorization headers, or participant Private URLs.

Copy a safe support report

Copy this template into your email, then fill it in. Remove API tokens, Private URLs, passwords, and personal information from screenshots or error text.
